## What does EUM solve?

* **Verifiable trust** — every unit carries its [Smart COA](smart-coa.md): what it contains (COA), which batch it comes from (QR) and whether it is authentic (CVV).
* **Compliance** — products operated within the Mexican legal framework (≤1% THC, with amparo); labeling and classification by product class (coming soon, Compliance section).
* **Marketplace** — sellers publish, EUM analyzes/verifies/stores/fulfills, and the buyer receives with end-to-end traceability.

## Concepts in 30 seconds

* **Smart COA** — a live, verifiable certificate of analysis (COA + QR + CVV + AI-ready).
* **COA** — chromatographic laboratory analysis of a batch (cannabinoid profile, valid for 1.8 years).
* **QR** — takes you from the unit to its real analysis.
* **CVV** — unique anti-counterfeiting code per unit.
* **Product class** — how it is classified before COFEPRIS (confectionery, food supplement, food, cosmetic, raw material…) and which labeling applies to it.
